El día de la boda lució un sol radiante, fue una suerte porque los días anteriores había hecho un tiempo malo, frío y lluvioso...pero el sábado amneció precioso en Bruselas. La boda se celebró a las 9:30 de la mañana en La Grand Plance de Bruselas...el escenario:

La ceremonia se celebró en el interior de Hotel de Ville, antes de pasar a la sala principal donde fue la boda nos hicimos unas fotos familiares. Abajo los novios con el clan Delfosse

La ceremonia no duró mucho pero fue muy bonita y pusieron música nupcial.

Luego nos fuimos a comer a un restaurante en la zona de St. Catherine, We had lunch in a very nice restaurant near the St. Cathenine area

Fue una boda sencilla pero muy bonita, lo pasamos todos muy bien, y nos encantó reunirnos en Bruselas para una ocasión tan especial, aún quedan pendientes más festejos...Asturias, Marruecos, Shanghai? ya se verá!

It was such a nice wedding, we all had a wonderful time and it was so nice to gather all together in Brussels, there will be more celebrations in Asturias, Morroco and maybe also in Shanghai!

This week I spent a day in Antwerp wich is very close from Brussels, it takes about 40 min by train to get there. This city has so many things to offer and it´s a great source of inspiration...I spent a wonderful day walking around and taking pictures. Here are some of the things that I really loved.

Amberes es una ciudad belga situada en la parte flamenca del país, está muy cerca de Bruselas, a unos 40 min en tren. Es un sitio interesante para visitar ya que es un centro creativo muy importante con una riqueza cultural increíble. Ya había estado en varias ocasiones allí, y me apetecía volver para ver qué se estaba cociendo. Pasé un día estupendo paseando, haciendo fotos y viendo cosas muy interesantes e inspiradoras. Aquí va un resumen de lo que más me gustó.

Por falta de tiempo esta vez no fuí a pasear por el casco antiguo (que es precioso y merece mucho la pena), fuí directamente por la zona de las tiendas de segunda mano, cerca del parque donde comí, ví este edificio con una flecha gigante hecha de crochet...seguí la indicación...

Era la sede de un colectivo que se estaba preparando para forrar una plaza! me dejaron entrar a fisgar...

It was the headquarter of this artist collective that is working to cover with knit a square in town!

Estaban haciendo cosas chulísimas!!

Flowers for the trees...so many nice knitted things in beautiful colors...I LOVED it!!

Me encantaron las lanas fosforitas y me dijeron que podía encontrarlas en una tienda un poco alejada del centro pero en una zona muy chula. Por sus indicaciones, llegué a la conclusión que se tartaba de la zona donde me había quedado a dormir en mi última visita a la ciudad hace casi dos años, realmente es una zona chulísima y me pareció una buena idea volver allí, comprar lanas y pasear...pero más tarde. Seguí paseando...

Fuí hasta EPISODE, tienda insignia de segunda mano de los países bajos, hay uno en Bruselas, otro en Amberes y dos en Amsterdam, antes me encantaba, ahora ya no tanto...pero siempre voy!

I went to EPISODE, a second hand clothing store very famous in Amsterdam, Brussels and Antwerp, I used to love it, but lately not so much as before...anyway, I always pay a visit to them :)

But what I was really looking for was this shop, RA
Pero el sitio que de verdad quería ver es esta tienda, RA. Es un espacio chulísimo con una terraza y un bar a la entrada donde sirven comida orgánica

Me encanta la decoración,todo lleno de plantas, muebles antiguos, objetos modernos, libros, revistas...

Pero lo mejor es la tienda, tienen cosas realmente originales. Marcas y diseñadores muy chulos desde Opening Ceremony hasta Topshop pasando por otros belgas e internacionales. La selección de productos está muy cuidada y es muy excéntica a la vez...me encantaría vender mis cosas aquí algún día...o tener una tienda así...es un sitio muy inspirador, un must see absoluto!

This shop is really inspiring, the concept, the decoration, the products they sell...everything makes me want to create crazy designs and sell them there!

Then, I went to ATERS a DIY shop...well, I should say THE DIY SHOP! they has so many stuff...I bought lots of wool and a loom to woven.

Siguiendo la pista de las chicas tricotadoras fui hasta ATERS la tienda de manualidades que tenía infinidad de cosas...me compré un montón de lanas fluor y un telar para hacer tapices.

Me encantó volver a esta zona donde había estado en mi anterior viaje a la ciudad pero en diciembre...es decir, con mucho frío. Este día, sin embargo, hacía sol y se estaba de maravilla paseando...fuí a un bar que nos encantó, en el edificio que se ve abajo, tiene una terraza chulísima...

Y el interior también...

Walking around Cogels Osylei st. and the nearby streets is really a must. The houses here are just AMAZING, the art nnoveau façades so beautiful...I am posting a lot of pictures because I couldn´t stop to take them!!
