The place wher I spend most of my time lately...at the tailor sample room! They are my heroes!!!

Este es el sitio donde paso mas tiempo ultimamente: en el tailor! En la foto de abajo estoy con Mei Mei, la dueña, y arriba con su hermana mayor. Ellas trabajan todos los dias hasta las tantas...tienen un equipo de sastres y un patronista que es un hacha. Poco a poco estamos construyendo una amistosa relacion (con mi maltrecho chino mandarin y sus cuatro palabras en ingles, logramos entendernos muy bien). Les encantan mis disenios y mi estilo...y me llaman la Hua nu er o Flower Girl!

I used to complain about not having flea markets in Shanghai...but lately, almost every week, there are markets, fairs and lots of fun events where people can show their creativity and recycle their old possesions. Yesterday I went to the, already famous, Jianshan Market, and then to a flea market at the old Lolo Loves Vintage...it was packed of creative and stylish people...great atmosphere and lots of fun!

Es icreíble lo rápido que se mueven las cosas en esta ciudad...hace un año me quejaba de que en Shanghai no había mercadillos ni rastros ni nada y últimamente casi todas las semanas hay uno. Estas fotos las saqué ayer en el jardín de la antigua tienda de Lolo Loves Vintage. Estaba a rebosar de gente muy artística, estilosa y creativa de Shanghai. Me encontré con amigos, pasé un rato divertido y me compré un lacito de crochet...como tengo pocos accesorios...y de crochet, pues uno más para la colección!!
