As I said, Asian ladies are so against sun bathing and getting dark...but I was quite shocked in Seoul watching the way of covering their body in order to avoid any sun light touching their precious skins...

Ya hablé de la obsesión asiática contra tomar el sol y ponerse moreno, pero creo que jamás he visto tanto accesorio junto para protegerse contra el sol como en Seúl!

 
 
 
Todas las mujeres llevaban un mínimo de dos viseras...muchas de ellas iban con guantes y mascarillas...y hacía un calor!! Eso sí que es cuidar el cutis!

 Last day of summer in Shanghai, and the view through my window is quite depressing...I hope we won´t have this weather until next may!

Vuelta a Shanghai. Hoy, en el último día del verano, la vista desde mi ventana es bastante deprimente...un día gris plomizo con esa espesa neblina tan característica Shanghai...una buena forma de animar el día es deshacer la maleta de mi tour japocoreano llena de bonitos recuerdos y alguna que otra adquisición. Lo primero que busco es este Cd de HIBIKI, una cantante japonesa con una voz preciosa, música melancólica tipo Carole King...me encanta.

A good way to cheer up is to unpack my suitcase full of souvenirs from my Asian tour..first thing I take is this beautiful CD from HIBIKI, cute japanese music playing in my home...

I love this hand painted glasses that I brought from Seoul. Me encantan estos vasitos pintados a mano que compré en Seúl 

And this new coushions for my living room, they costed me less than 1 euro (the two of them together!) Y estos cojines floreados tan retro para mi salón, me costaron menos de un euro los dos juntos!

But I think that my best buy is this one: 150mt of this beautiful rope made of recycled fabric for 15 euros! 

Pero mi compra favorita es esta: 150 metros de esta cuerda hecha con tejidos reciclados, me costó menos de 15 euros, en Japón!

I am so happy with this romper that I loved from the TOPSHOP last summer collection...a japanese brand copied it exactly the same...and now it´s mine! 

Y estoy encantada con este pichi que tenía TOPSHOP este verano, una marca japonesa lo ha fusilado y me he podido hacer con él, yupi! Hoy estreno look de otoño con medias...

New autumn look wearing tights...bye bye summer time!

Korea is a true paradise for knitting lovers. Many of the sweaters from the 80s and 90s come from here. Digging into flea markets and vintage shops you can find rare and unique examples from Missoni, Escada, Oilily and many others...here are some pictures that I took at the Seocho flea market last weekend:

   
 

 
 
Corea es un paraíso para los amantes del punto. De aquí salieron la mayoría de los jerseys ochenteros y noventeros que andan pululando por el mundo. En los mercadillos callejeros y en las tiendas vintage se pueden encontrar ejemplares muy chulos de Missoni, Escada, Oilily...entre otros.  Las fotos de arriba las saqué este sábado en el Seocho flea Market, cuánta joyita suelta!

*10 goOd REaSoNs tO mOve tO SeouL riGhT noW!*

Britta and I not only had the greatest time in Korea, we also want to move here!! We have been amazed and impressed about many things from our neighbour country...we even made a list with ten good reasons for moving to Korea for good, here they are:

Estos días Britta y yo lo hemos pasado de maravilla en Seúl, tanto que hemos decidido que nos encantaría venirnos a vivir a Korea. Hemos hecho una lista con diez buenas razones para mudarnos a nuestro país vecino:

1.-Cute guys! (and girls), Korean guys are so hansome and stylish, we decided that are our asian favourites, even though they seem to be very shy and very few speak english... 

-Chicos muy monos (y chicas también), los coranos y coreanas nos parecen los más guapos de los asiáticos, con diferencia. Además son muy estilosos, aunque también son tímidos y casi nadie habla inglés...

2.-Fresher and cleaner air. Seaul is a very big city but it has many mountains and huge green areas, we love this!

-Aire  más limpio y fresco. Seúl es una ciudad inmensa y extensa pero tiene montañas y enormes espacios verdes, un super punto a favor!

3.-Rooftop parks, many buildings have this lovely parks on the rooftop where people can do some exercise in the morning, cool!

-Azoteas con parques. Muchos edificios tienen miniparques y en las azoteas, la gente pasea y hace deporte en ellas, es muy guay!

 

4.-Beautiful artistic characters, korean writing is very pretty...I love the circles all over.

-Los caracteres coreanos. Nos encantan los circulinos que ponen por todos lados, es una escritura muy artística

 

5.-Clean taxis with navigation sistem, no more getting lost!

-Taxis super limpios con GPS, imposible perderse!

6.-No spitting on the street...

-Nada de escupitajos callejeros...

7.-Nice shops, great fashion, design and style

-Tiendas super monas, ropa muy chula, diseños interesantes, estilo...

 

8.-Cute cafes...all over!!

-Cafetitos por todos lados con café riquísimo y decoración muy acogedora

 
9.-Great inspiration, specially for knitwear....

-Gran fuente de inspiración, sobretodo para el punto...es un paraíso!

 

10.-Relax and spontaneous atmosphere...and this is a very good reason to come back very often and, why not, mooving for good some day?

-Se respira un ambiente relajado y espontáneo. La gante nos pareció menos estresada y rígida que en Japón y es mucho más libre y creativa que en China, esta es la razón de mayor peso para volver con frecuencia a Seúl y, por qué no, mudarse algún día?

 
Espero que os haya gustado el decálogo...lo siento por no tener ilustraciones de todos los puntos, sobretodo de los chicos coreanos :P!!!
